How long have you worked at Kooltronic?

"I started at Kooltronic back in August of 1999, so just over 22 years!"

Do you have any notable hobbies or interests?

"I have 8 grandkids, many of whom are involved with sports (basketball, soccer, softball, and dance) so I spend a lot of time with family. I, myself, used to be very involved in basketball and track. In fact, my high school teammates and I had set a relay record that lasted over 25 years – an accomplishment that helped get me inducted into the Ewing High School Hall of Fame."

Please highlight an important or rewarding aspect of your position.

"My job is focused on assembly and testing, and I put in 110% effort every day. Having been involved in unit testing for as long as I have, I can immediately identify a concern by sight and sound. I’ve gotten so good at it that some colleagues have affectionately referred to me as "Radar O’Reilly" from the TV series "M*A*S*H*." Also, my experience puts me in a position to offer help to my fellow employees, and I am always happy to do so."

Whether performing product performance evaluations, or in-process refrigeration system tests, Deborah always does it right the first time.

Can you recall a memorable experience during your career with Kooltronic?

"I remember winning prizes at a few of the annual company picnics – those are always fun. I also won an award for perfect attendance, have been a long-standing member of the Kooltronic Safety Committee, and have received numerous certificates of achievement throughout my career here."

Is there anything that you would like customers to know about you or your work?

"Kooltronic is like a family. There are a lot of good, hard-working people here and we know how to pull together to get the job done right. It's just like our motto says, "If it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing right the first time."
