During the summer of 2021, a manufacturer of battery energy storage systems (BESS) contacted Kooltronic, Inc. for a thermal management solution that would meet the specialized requirements of its onsite microgrid power system. Working collaboratively with the OEM, Kooltronic's Engineering team recommended a number of custom modifications to a closed-loop air conditioner that would meet the unique project requirements and help maximize battery storage capacities and reliability of the ESS.
