Enclosure Cooling Solutions for Power Generation & Telecommunications Infrastructure
Some of the most important facilities and services we rely on each day include power generation and distribution, telecommunications and data, and renewable
energy storage systems
. This critical infrastructure requires some form of thermal and humidity management for reliable, long-lasting operation. For instance, power generation facilities -- whether using fossil fuels, nuclear energy or renewable resources -- all typically incorporate enclosure cooling into their operational design. In these applications, a closed-loop cooling or ventilation system will remove excess heat from on-site electrical panels and control cabinets. Cell towers, outside plants, and data centers also need to consider thermal management to protect the considerable investment in technology. Enclosure cooling and, at times, heating (when condensation is present) will protect the sensitive electronics used in these applications, while also improving both operating efficiency and longevity.
